The Speed Project's latest CHX collection explores the full pilgrimage of the runner. From the moment they commit to the journey, to the travel, the relay, and everything in between, each piece is designed for the experience as a whole.

Like the first ever TSP moment and the firsts in other countries, it begins as an experiment, a visual and technical study of performance and technical products informed by the needs of our participants.

For our designers, the process started with the materials, and took us to Japan for our new performance fabrics, originally created for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Toray, our material supplier, developed fabrics that focused on the humidity athletes would face in the Tokyo summers, very similar to the adventure from Chamonix to Marseille that our participants will endure. We then took these fabrics and worked with our development and production pattern team in LA.

This year’s color palette is inspired by the glaciers of the Alps, where layers of snow accumulate, compress, and transform over time into a force powerful enough to shape the earth. The parallel, we hope, is not lost on you.

We want to thank you for coming on this journey with us, our first capsule isn’t done, it’s only the start. Help us navigate our path with feedback of how we helped you on your next adventure.
